The Importance of Keratometry
For many optometrists, measuring the curvature of a patient’s cornea is an important procedure in understanding how a person sees the world. Keratometry (K) is the clinical term for such measurements. The cornea is the clear front surface of the eye that bends (or refracts) light rays as they enter the eye.

Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Amy Moy
Dr. Moy received her Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2003, and now serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Optometry at NECO as well as Director of Health Center Network and Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her NECO roles, Amy is also an Attending Doctor at the Martha Eliot Health Center.
