Directions & Accommodations

NECO is close to all major highways, including I-90 (Mass Pike), 95, and 93. Our street address is 424 Beacon Street, Boston, MA and our parking lot is located on the corner of Beacon and Hereford Streets.

Our lot is small, but we will try to accommodate you should this be your best option. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to park on campus, as our spots are first come, first serve, and we cannot always guarantee availability.

However, there are many alternative parking options around us. We encourage you to take advantage of the ample 2-hour metered spots along Beacon Street and the surrounding Back Bay neighborhood.

In addition to street parking, there are multiple parking garages within a five-minute walk to campus.

The entrance at Exeter Street and Boylston Street is closest to NECO.

If you plan to arrive at NECO directly from Logan airport, the Logan Express shuttle service is offered regularly from all terminals to our Back Bay neighborhood. Your ride from the airport to Back Bay is even free! The shuttle will drop you off at either Hynes Convention Center or Back Bay Station.

Your walk from the Hynes Convention Center drop-off location to NECO is about 5 minutes and about a 15-minute walk from the Back Bay Station location. Travel time to and from the airport is approximately 30 minutes for both locations.

If you need to take the Logan Express shuttle back to the airport, buses depart regularly from either Hynes Convention Center or Back Bay Station. There is a small fare for the ride back to the airport. Check Logan’s website for more information about location and schedules. 

NECO is within walking distance from several MBTA services, including subway trains (the “T”) and buses. Check the MBTA website for a complete schedule and map of their stops.

Green Line Trains
Hynes Convention Center Station: 0.4 mile
Copley Station: 0.6 mile

Hynes Convention Center Station is the closest train stop to NECO. Exit the station to Massachusetts Avenue. With your back facing the station entrance, take a right on Massachusetts Avenue and head north towards Beacon Street. Take a right on Beacon Street and walk one block to 424 Beacon Street.

Massachusetts Avenue Station: 0.9 mile
Back Bay Station: 0.9 mile

Bus Lines
Bus #1 on Massachusetts Avenue stops just one block from NECO, at Beacon Street (towards Harvard) or Marlborough Street (towards Dudley). Many other bus routes stop in nearby Copley Square, as well.
