It’s so hard to believe that just 4 months ago, I was writing my first blog post on my patio at home in shorts and a t-shirt as a recent college graduate.

Board exams are done and real life can finally resume! That pretty much sums up the spring term of third year in one sweeping sentence.

Last Sunday, on May 17, 2015, four amazing and challenging years of optometry school culminated in the graduation ceremony for the class of 2015.

It’s a question you hear countless times, both before and after you enter the New England College of Optometry.

I’ve had three weeks of classes so far in my second year at NECO, but it wasn’t until yesterday that I began to fully comprehend the scope of how far my class has come, and how far we still have to go in our education here.

It’s already February, which means that I officially survived my first semester at NECO and the second half of the year is already well underway.
