As a New England College of Optometry (NECO) student, you’ll likely spend plenty of time studying, attending classes, and working hard toward your degree. But taking study breaks to recharge is essential for maintaining focus and preventing burnout. Outdoor adventures

Boston and its surrounding area is home to some of the nation’s best parks, hiking, and conservation areas. If you prefer to stay in the city, there is plenty to do outdoors like visit the Boston Common or walk (or even kayak) along the Charles River.

  • Walk Along the Charles River Esplanade

The Charles River Esplanade is a beautiful park that runs along the Boston side of the Charles River.
