Laconia Eye and Laser Center is located in the heartland of the Lakes Region in New Hampshire. Laconia Eye is one of the largest private practice primary care centers in the area. This is made possible by our OD/MD business model. We treat a vast range of ocular health conditions of which diabetes, and glaucoma are the most prevalent. We also act as a tertiary care center for the optometric offices in the general area, and the local emergency room. This allows us to also treat a consistent variety of ocular disease cases such as iritis, corneal ulcers, chemical burns, hyphemas, and basic trauma. The optometrists in the practice currently also fit synergeyes, special eyes, and scleral contact lenses. We do not specialize in pediatric cases at the present moment, but our team is amenable to any ideas and willing to accommodate new interests.
This area is exposed to a lot of tourism especially within the summer months. The practice is located ten to fifteen minutes from the myriad of lakes that make up the lakes region. Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Winnisquam are the largest most well known lakes in the region. There are boundless opportunities for watersports, hiking, biking, fishing, and boating activities in the summer. We are very close to Gunstock Mountain which features zip lining, skiing, ropes courses, and an alpine roller coaster. It is also a short drive to the White Mountains for skiing, and hiking as well. Laconia Eye is also off Route 93 to North Conway which is a well known tourist destination full of excellent shopping opportunities, and stunning resorts. We are just a short drive to Concord which is the capital of New Hampshire. Laconia also has its own highlights containing many great restaurants, and local farms.
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:45am to 5:30pm. Holidays are offered at the standard rate, and currently a week is given off at Christmas to the entire staff.
