Risk Optometric is looking for a full-time or part-time doctor to join our practices in Fayetteville, NC. Fayetteville is in the center of North Carolina and an hour from Raleigh, three hours from Charlotte, and two hours from the coast. Fayetteville is home to Ft. Liberty which is one of the largest military bases in the world. As such, we have a very diverse patient base. Since the military does not conduct contact lens exams, we also have a large contact lens market share. Fayetteville also has a large retired military population. Therefore, we treat a wide variety of ocular diseases. Thankfully, military dependents have Tricare insurance which has one of the highest reimbursements in the United States. Fayetteville State University and Methodist University are local universities to the community. Fayetteville is growing rapidly. We just finished building a 1.3 million square foot Amazon Fulfillment Center that should be opening in 2024. Fayetteville is neither a large city nor a small town. We have over 212,000 residents. All of our offices in Fayetteville can be reached in less than 20 minutes from the center of town. Therefore, your time traveling each day is very practical. We do NOT have rush hour traffic jams.
