Excellent hours: Monday thru, with the possibility of only one later evening or an occasional Saturday. Ultimately you will never be expected to work more than 40 hours a week and schedules are always open for discussion.

In addition to our flexible hours and family environment, we offer a very generous salary with the potential to earn quarterly bonuses. The ideal candidate loves helping people, has an open mind, and is willing to grow and develop with us.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated optometrist to join our well-established practice with multiple locations along the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. All of our offices are located within the greater Tampa Bay area. What sets us apart from other opportunities is that we value the balance between serving our patients and enjoying life with family.

Serving our patients with the highest level of care is our number one priority. The majority of our patients are looking for a routine comprehensive exam, which sometimes includes fitting contact lenses. However, it is not uncommon to treat urgent medical conditions and co-manage ocular surgeries with local ophthalmologists. The practice is seeking a candidate who communicates effectively with patients and is looking to be active within the community. Developing strong relationships with primary care physicians and local businesses is essential to growing the patient base and building goodwill within the community. We strive for the new optometrist to gain a sense of pride and ownership with this opportunity.

Florida’s Gulf Coast offers a rich diversity of inland, coastal, metro and suburban communities. This area has beautiful weather year-round, some of the country’s best beaches and countless outdoor activities for you and your family. Whether it’s the exciting buzz of a city or a peaceful sunset, the surrounding a community has what you’re looking for. It’s easy to settle into our casual Florida lifestyle (It's only a bonus that it comes with no state income tax).

Required Skills and Experience:

A license to practice optometry in the state of Florida (or the willingness to obtain one)
Graduate of an accredited school of Optometry
Familiar with Electronic Health Records
