The New England College of Optometry invites applications for a full-time faculty position. The qualified applicant will have an appointment in the Department of Primary Care at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) and in our clinical care system. This appointment is Non-Tenure Track or Tenure Track.
Teaching responsibilities include instructing laboratories, work in the outreach program, teaching small group seminars, patient care and the clinical training of optometry students at patient care sites affiliated with the New England College of Optometry.
At the time of the appointment, the successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) and have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Optometry License with TPA certification. Preference will be given to candidates with five (5) years of related experience, who have completed an accredited optometric residency or have equivalent patient care and/or teaching experience and have an interest in pursuing optometric educational research.
