Kenai Vision Center is looking for a full-time and long-term optometrist who is eager to practice. Kenai Vision Center has been serving the community for over 50 years, has become the primary medical eye care provider for the region, and is a great place to continuously develop professional skills. We invest heavily in continued education and technologies to enhance patient care and experience. The owners emphasize a collaborative work approach to continuously encourage all staff members and improve knowledge throughout their careers. We have a large optical with on-site finishing. The optometrist will be able to work closely with other providers in the area to allow for enhanced medical care and work with other doctors in the clinic to allow for flexibility in work schedules.
The optometrist should be comfortable with primary eye care, contact lenses, and medical eye care. Being three hours from the closest eye subspecialist, it is important to be able to treat many conditions including eye emergencies. Ellex Tango SLT/YAG and Lumines IPL for in-house treatments. Full diagnostic suite includes Optos OCT, VEP/ERG, topo, pachymetry, multiple VFs and meibography. External imaging in multiple exam lanes. Technicians to support the optometrist. Continuing education expenses, paid holidays, full-scope optometry, 401k, salary + bonus based on production.
