New England College of Optometry invites you to participate in a Cornea Symposium on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Listen to experts in the field discuss current and emerging trends in managing familiar as well as rare corneal problems. This comprehensive 6 hour program brings together renowned subject matter experts on the cornea.
Symposium host, Dr. Joseph Shovlin, Northeastern Eye Institute, Scranton Pennsylvania, is a nationally recognized lecturer, clinician and author and the incoming President of the American Academy of Optometry. This symposium will provide 6 hours of COPE certified CE credit.
The format includes interactive discussion panels designed to stimulate discussion and controversy in dealing with an array of corneal problems including: Herpetic eye disease, DSEK, Keratoprosthesis, Amniotic membrane, Corneal infection, Limbal stem cells, Dry eye, and Specialty contact lenses.
