Graduates should plan to arrive by 7:30am for check-in, photos, and line-up. Breakfast will be provided.

Regalia Pickup:

You will have an opportunity to pick up your regalia, yearbooks and awards the week before Commencement in CAPA.  Everyone will receive a package with the regalia inside, as well as an additional bag which contains your yearbook and other items (such as cords, stoles, certificates, etc.).  Please look carefully to see what is in your bag because it may be important!

We welcome you to stop by during one of these times below to pick up your materials:

Monday – Wednesday, May 9 – 11, from 10am – 7:30pm & Friday, May 13 10am -5pm

It is okay to pick up regalia for another graduate. Please send an email to [email protected] if you would like to authorize a gradate picking up your commencement package.  Regalia that hasn’t been picked up will be brought over to Symphony Hall, where you will be able to receive it when you check in on Commencement Day.  We strongly recommend picking up your regalia in advance to remove it from the package and steam it as there are creases from the packaging.

Commencement Day Arrival:

Please arrive at Symphony Hall, 301 Massachusetts Ave., Boston, at 7:30am on the morning of Commencement.  Graduates must enter via the entrance on Huntington Avenue (it says “Cohen Wing” on the outside).  Please do not enter via the main Massachusetts Ave entrance.  Your guests, however, are required to enter via the main Mass Ave entrance, NOT the Huntington Ave/Cohen Wing entrance.  The auditorium will open at approximately 8:30am for your guests.

  • Upon entrance, grads will turn left to go to the Higginson room, where your class will meet and store any small belongings. We cannot store large suitcases or bags at Symphony Hall, so please plan accordingly.  Family and other invited guests are not allowed in this room.  Please carry a minimal amount of personal items to the ceremony.  There will be a light breakfast available for you and then you will line up for your class group photos at 7:45am (photos are at 8am).  More details regarding the day will be emailed ahead of time.
  •   In your commencement package, you will receive a rapid PCR test.  Please follow the directions for uploading your test results the morning of the ceremony so that you can walk on stage to receive your degree.
