Vision Science

The College supports active research programs in the science of human vision. This broad area of research includes visual neuroscience, optics of the eye, psychophysics of normal and abnormal vision, retinal electrophysiology, high-resolution retinal imaging, oculomotor control, and development of the eye and visual system. The ultimate goal of research in vision science is to find the most effective approaches to treatments for vision problems and, when possible, an understanding that leads to prevention or cure.
