December 31, 2012 - Kenneth Headington, OD 2012, Awarded Neumueller Award by AAO

Kenneth Headington, NECO Class of 2012, has been awarded the Neumueller Award by

the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). Dr. Headington’s submitted manuscript,

“Single cell imaging of the chick retina with adaptive optics” (Headington, Choi, Nickla,

and Doble), was selected in July as the top entry by the AAO Awards Committee.

The Julius F. Neumueller Award in Optics is awarded to a student in a school or college

of optometry who submits a paper in Geometrical Optics, Physical Optics, Ophthalmic

Optics, or Optics of the Eye.

Dr. Headington was presented with the award at the Academy meeting in Phoenix, AZ in

October.
