October 24, 2012 - Kenneth Myers, OD 1974, Donates Antique Textbook Collection
Dr. Kenneth Myers, OD ‘74, PhD, recently donated his collection of antique eye care text books to the New England College of Optometry, where they will be kept on display in the Rotunda.

Dr. Myers personally delivered the books during a visit to the College in September. He attended the White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2015 where he made brief inspirational remarks to the students.In 1976, Dr. Myers was appointed the first Director of the Optometry Service in the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is a graduate of NECO’s initial class of the Advanced Optometric Degree Program (AODP), an accelerated two-year curriculum for students with medical research backgrounds.
