Student Circulation Policy

Note: No laptops, equipment or realia may leave the Library at any time.

Renewing, Reserving or Placing a HOLD on an Item

Renewing:

Reserve items may be renewed in person or by telephone at 617-587-5589 at or before the time the item is due. Renewal may not be allowed if another person is on the waiting list.

Regular circulating materials may also be renewed in person or by telephone at 617-587-5589, or via My Account. Renewal may not be allowed if another person has placed a HOLD on the title.

Reservations and Holds:

A hold may be placed for a regular circulating item in person or by telephone at 617-587-5589 or email at library@neco.edu.

A waiting list is maintained at the Circulation Desk for 2-hour reserve items. Your name must be added in person and you must be on the first floor of the Library when your name comes up on the list.

Study Rooms

Study room B may be reserved for groups of 3 or more.  The historical study room (upstairs) may be reserved for groups of 6 or more.  Reservations must be made for one or two hours (maximum). The reservation must be made by 10 AM the morning of the reservation.  Contact the Circulation Desk at 617-587-5589 to reserve.
