Information About Off-campus Access

This page describes how to log in to resources that have an [Off-campus access] designation. For information on what this and other resource designations mean, please see the Levels of Access page.

Logging In

When you are attempting to access a resource that has an [Off-campus access] designation, the first thing you will see is a page that prompts you to enter your NECO email account login information (see example below). From this login, you will proceed directly to the licensed resource. 

You will only be required to do this once for each Internet session. However, if your session extends beyond 30 minutes you may be prompted to enter your login information again.

Below is an example of a student logging in to the off-campus service:

Note: To access resources through this system, your browser must be set to accept cookies. A cookie is a piece of information placed on a computer's hard drive by a web site that allows the site to recognize a return user and that user's preferences. There are some privacy-related considerations involved with cookies. If you have concerns about cookies, one option is to enable cookies prior to a Library session and disable the cookies when your session is over.
