Information About Off-campus Access

Logging In

For each Internet session, the first time you attempt to access a restricted resource that has an [off-campus] designation, you will be prompted to enter your NECO login information (if your session extends beyond 30 minutes you may be prompted to enter your login information again).

Your login information is the same username/password combination that is used for accessing your College e-mail account and/or your campus networked workstation. Just as your e-mail access is encrypted for security, so is your login to access these Library resources.  From this login, you will proceed directly to the licensed resource.

Note: To access resources through this system, your browser must be set to accept cookies. A cookie is a piece of information placed on a computer's hard drive by a Web site that allows the Web site to recognize a return user and that user's preferences. There are some privacy-related considerations involved with cookies. If you have concerns about cookies, one option is to enable cookies prior to a Library session and disable the cookies when your session is over.
