Study in Clinical Settings

The New England College of Optometry’s┬áprograms of study require as a condition of graduation the completion of training programs in a clinical setting, such as a hospital, community health center clinic, private practice, or school based clinic. ┬áParticipation in these programs may require students to execute releases or contracts with the entity providing clinical services, which release it from liability and mandate that students comply with all requirements and regulations, such as health examinations and immunizations. ┬áThe College assumes that students enrolling in courses involving outside clinical study will comply with such requirements and procedures.
