Admissions Process

If you meet the academic requirements for admission to The New England College of Optometry, apply online and return the application electronically. If you are applying to the 4-year Doctor of Optometry Program, we will be only accepting online applications this year. Paper applications will not be accepted.

We are in the process of changing our application procedures. Please stay tuned for the latest update.

Early applications are encouraged. Candidates should apply as soon as possible after September 1st for the following academic year. Application deadline is March 31st.

The Admissions Committee will carefully review your application and you will be invited for an interview or advised that you do not meet our admissions standards. Personal interviews are required.  You will be informed of the Admissions Committee decision within three weeks following your interview.  Upon acceptance, a $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure a seat in the entering class.
