Admissions

The New England College of Optometry welcomes you and other students from throughout the United States and abroad, who possess the academic qualifications and desire for a rewarding career in Optometry.

Outstanding candidates are evaluated on academic performance as well as recommendations, essays and admission interviews.

We accept 100 plus students into our four-year Doctor of Optometry degree program each September.  In the 2011-2012 cycle, the College received 930 applications from qualified candidates.

Only those students who have a good chance of graduating and performing as competent and caring Optometrists, are admitted to our program.  The College takes great pride in its high rate of retention.

As a small College, we believe strongly in working with you and other students on an individual basis.  If you have any questions regarding the College or the admissions process, please contact us.

For more information on our programs, or to apply online go to our Admissions Process page.
